gday guys just had a thought the other day to put indicators into door mirror. First of all would it be possible to fit one in and secondly would it look like s**t? Cheers!

looks good on the mercs and the like, i could imagine would be a fairly hefty job to sort though

meh dont bother it will be a 1 off custom jobby and cost a fair bit and then if it gets broken off...

bit hard on a ef now on a au you could take the mirror apart and add a saya commo clear indicator lens and globe in the middle or soemthing....

you can get them off ebay cheaply but they are externally adjustable only which was too much of an inconvinience for me but if you are the main driver of your car it shouldent matter as you wont need to change the position of the mirrors any way.

The previous owner of my mates CRX (it's the yellow one featured in 3 hot 4's - he bought it with all the work done, can't remmebr the name of it), has done this, using 4 leds. It's not a bad idea in my opinion!

All your have to do is open up your mirror housing,, drill some holes, puit leds there and hook them up to the indicator system. Would be that overly difficult! A globe would be harder because you'd have to convert some of the housing to clear.
