hey all,
when putting an AU XR6 VCT engine in a 5spd EF sedan what clutch cable do i need to use? i was reading a thread on XFALCON.com "AU 4.0 into EF" and the bloke said you need to use the AU clutch cable or trim part of the AU sump down. can anyone confirm this? thanks guys.

I just did the manual conversion and I used an EF clutch cable and pedal in my ED with a AU2 VCT motor and T5 using the AU bellhousing to keep it looking nice (bottom 4 bolt holes dont line up when using a E-series bellhousing on a AU motor) and works fine...
So to answer that you can use any EA to AU 5 speed clutch cable.
