keep the paint as is.

i got 1.5" lowering blocks and XR front springs with EL XR FTR rims.
looks great and rides real well.
i had super lows on the front, but found it a bit of a pain.
lows cars look great, but aren't very practical.

nah you don't worry about the practicality of it. Haha. Super lows are the lowest I'd go which is whats in the front of mine, and just lows in the rear. Yes what I drive is a sedan, BUT, the look I'm chasing is guards a smidge off flush or flush with the top the tyre in the front, and in the rear, probably a 10-15mm tuck of tyre with my el gt 17's. Still looking for superlows by the way, preferably a swap for lows?? Haha

Just my personal preference on ride height. Massive tuck in the a** only looks decent when the front is ACTUALLY LOWERED unlike alot of commodores I've seen around.

Also depending on how low you want to go, check that your exhaust is sittIng up nice and close to the body because it'll most likely be the lowest point of the car and you will be rubbing on those damn speed humps.

Cheers.
Sam.
