two coats looks nice i have seen it before, so long as the coats are even
not only that you can if they really got ruined( pretty much impossible ) pick up another pair at the wreckers, or go to the wreckers and tint theres and see( thats what i did before i did my own) just give it time to dry as they get darker when they dry

I tinted the rear lights on my DA LTD dark black, but it suited it well due to the dark red colour of the paint..
Maybe just tint the red sections of yours and leave the clear bits as they are? I'm not sure it that'll look a bit weird though, you would ideally want to photoshop it before doing it. Having said that I think it looks quite good the way it is now, but if you do decide to tint them I reckon just a couple of light coats will look good. Just my personal opinion..

Bit off topic but whereabouts around noosa did you get ur tint done, and how much did they sting you for it??
Been thinking about doing it around tax time Also with the tint youll be better off removing the front of the lights (which i believe is possible with an oven or heat gun, correct me if im wrong) because i did mine jet black around 6 months ago and they only look a little darker than standard now.

mm yea thats a fair point..
well just work in very light coats. and i was told that (correct me if im wrong cos i cant remember 100%) wax and grease remover will take it off so you can try again? there was definately something that gets it off so its not all over if you eff it up!

heres an idea...
get a pair of headlight covers... -SPRAY THEM!! and see how it looks... If you like it..either keep them on or do the lights... hate it? flick them in the "FAil bin".. |
