Its an e series V8 so power is not all that exciting hey.
You have already done the extractors so that is good.
Underdrives are a 12kw gain approx , upgrade the ignition with MSD cap , rotor and coil when you need to replace them. No real power gain but makes the car much nicer.
Look at an explorer manifold and the GT40P heads if you get adventurous.

Take a look at later windsor motor's such as the AU XR8's. A manifold/TB and anything else from one of those should be good as they were rated to 200-220kw's in the XR8's i believe.

The MSD gear is a good upgrade for a standard motor. As mentioned, underdrives. If you have a reasonable budget then yes the 40ps and a matching intake manifold and TB will be well worth the effort.

To me a budget is a lot more than my car is worth, so tell us how much you want to spend, and how much power you are expecting.

Another great upgrade, but very pricey is manual conversion, but they are getting very rare.

If you're going to be rebuilding it down the track, the best advice I can give is to start collecting parts for it now. Yes, stroke it for sure, a nice set of alloy heads, a good intake and a cam to suit the whole combo. You'd also need injectors, maf, throttle body and a tune. It's not a cheap mission, but if you start looking now, you should be able to pick up quite a bit 2nd hand.

Like the others have said though, MSD cap, coil and leads, underdrives and see if you can get our hands on an AU maf and run it with your electrics in it. These are a good starting point for a slight gain and smoother running engine.

gt40p heads, explorer manifold, cam, tune + installation will probably reach around 3 grand plus. You can buy everything in pieces so its not so heavy on the pocket and it wil give you good power to be happy with for a while.

OR, buy a basic raptor v supercharger kit. that will work out around same money for more power/torque.

Those 2 option are probably the best perfromance things you can do on a budget, THAT you will be happy with.

You can go crazy and stroke it with aftermarket block, big alloy heads, big cam nice flowing manifold and bigger super charger or turbo and trick up your auto or manual to handle power. Heaps you can do, its all money though.
