Hi every one
I'm currently installing a tickford body kit on my el and I'm going to have some paint left over. The red strip that go's around the car have faded and turnd to pink. I can't dicide whether I should bring the red back up or paint it to match the car. If anyone has pics or an opinion with mod I'd like to here it. food for thought would be much appreciated. Cheers.

If it were mine I'd re-do them Red. But a very deep dark red, something a little different than the rest.
Just a thought.

id go the red man...i redone mine in red cause they were fading but didnt get them resprayed, i got a graphic tape put on there and its a dame sight better than paint. its more glossy and wont fade as quick and it cheaper

i recon you should just remove it. keep it shaved. will look best!

has anyone tried a heat gun on the faded strip.
i know a heat gun can change the color on faded grey plastic bummpers & such to a more darker grey .? |

ok .didnt think of that .lol .
just need to hold the strip on while heating it & be more carefull . .? ive got the pink happening on my xr6 ,ill see what i can come up with when i buy a decent heat gun . |
