Im looking at doing a serpentine conversion to my EB falcon. I currently have an oil leak from the front of my engine. (about the size of a 20cent coin per day).

Its not coming from my rocker cover or the head gasket. So i thought as im doing the conversion i want to change all the gaskets on the front of the motor (other than Rocker Gover, Head Gasket, or Oil Sump as they are ok)

I havent had much expereince with the front of the motor so i was wondering how many other gaskets there are, and what i could change on the front.

Any info will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Have a good look at the timing chain tensioner. They have an o-ring which seals it which eventually perishes and leaks. Common problem. Usually it will leak down onto the w/pump and alternator bracket.

i get a wierd knocking sound from the motor when i first start it some times, its def. not lifters, i wonder if this tensioner could be the cause??

Whats the oil level like? Bottom End? In my opinion, when I change the o-ring, i change the tensioner as well. I can explain how to change the o-ring if you'd like, if thats the fault.
