Will it cover the 4499's easier?
Whats the difference in the 2?

It will bend out to cover the 4499's easy. Looks good too. 4480's are completely different with pipes twisting everywhere lol for tuned length and longer secondarys to further under the car iirc. Supposed to be better for low down torque.

I disagree, I recently removed my pacemaker 4499's and high flow cat and fitted stock headers and vgc stock cat. (modifying my pacies with longer secondaries when I have time like the JMM streetfighter headers) Anyway just with the 2.5in exhaust the car is alot quicker too 60. From 60-100 not much difference at all, but you notice the extractors make an improvement from 4500rpm-5500rpm. Still getting around 8secs flat 0-100 with both exhaust systems. In heavy traffic the car has alot more poke off the line and around corners (extractors cause engine bay heat soak even with a AU heat shield fitted. This results in the car becoming a pig off the line). Running a cold air intake also.... Results would be less noticeable on a manual 5spd I would say........

I just got 4499s on my eb with stock cat and 2.5in.
No huge differences but it is better. I think the car drives smoother at all speeds, even more so driving slow in carparks and cornering. The exhaust note is deeper and sounds good but didn't drasticly make it louder. She does feel slower off the mark but when your start pulling 3500+ there is a noticable power differance. (5speed) The engine revs out smoother and seems to be running quieter. Don't expect some crazy power increase. Just a nicer overall drive. |

That's what im looking for, a nice overall drive
and a little more performance, obviously im not expecting a massive power increase just cos of these, but definatly do want them
