So if i was to use my original harness and ECU it would still have the same power output...

Mostly. Youd probably like to get a J3 chip and at least get the timing and fueling cleaned up.
Then : yes. Nigel |

{USERNAME} wrote: Theres nothing special about the 220 heads, just the dags grinded off the ports. There is a lot more done to the 220kW heads than this. Ferrea stainless valves with larger diameter heads, hardened exhaust seats, valves un-shrouded, heads milled, bowls opened up, better valve springs, multi-angle valve job, roller rockers. And yes, the slight cnc port matching you mention above. This is how they got more torque & HP out of the engine with a smaller cam than the 200kW series 2. The only difference between the 220kW heads and the 250kW T3 heads is the milling which was not done on the 5.6 T3 to keep compression under control. But if you run the engine with the original 19lb EB injectors it will under-fuel at WOT. If Ford could have got away with using 19lb injectors, they would have fitted them from the factory because they are cheaper. You will need a chip to use the larger injectors.

Well that seems like the go AU2 engine with the EB harness using the J3 chip for the tunning, Au 3 heads, BPT underdrive pulleys, exhaust, extractors, AU 70mm MAF, thermos are getting done very soon for now. I want to go trick flow or edelbrock performance upper and lower manifolds. Does that sound good??? Anything missed out for the basic build???
With the electrics i need a lot of help with what will be needed to be done to adapt the EB harness with the AU engine, also knowing what needs to be done in reference to using the AU injectors too for better flow...
