Hey,
Good place to start is a cold air intake, i think the FPV's have extractors already but i could be wrong. Then grab yourself a bigger pipe from the airbox to the throttlebody - BPT does one. Chip it and put under drive pully's on it. Maybe a larger throttlebody and phenolic spacers. You could go for bigger injectors and better ignition coils but only if your chasing that last ounce of power. Beyond that i can't think of any other bolt on mods aye. Hope it helps mate.

Yeah, it all comes down to money, more money means a faster car. I currently have a BOSS 260 and have started doing some mods, and hope to get 260kw, then I'll be happy, so I won't be going to the extent of superchargers or anything cool like that They benefit greatly off simple mods like exhaust, and a tune for example. So dont be scared to do a few things before you get around to the supercharging it

very true and i dont really want to get a mortgage just to do up my car lol. Yeah i want to do all the na mods first then eventually s/c it. I was looking at a herrod headder and exhaust setup for it but they want about 3k and tell me i have to lower the motor and box to fit them so im not sure if il go the herrod route even though they are damn good

3k isnt all that bad. And if your going to the effort on boosting it, a good ecxhaust is money well spent. I STRONGLY reccomond Di Filippo. I dealt with them directly and found them very friendly, and both excellent quality of work and product. The extractors are a pain in the a*** to fit, and take quite a bit of time. However someone who's done a few before should have it all sussed out and have little dramas. I have Di Filippo extractors, cats, and twin 3 inch system. It sounds tough, and really makes the XR8 haul a***! They are expensive but money well spent, especially if your plan on supercharging it at some stage
