i have had alot of trouble with my fuel gauge in my XG ute. i have replaced it the sender, the wiring and the gauge and it its still buggered. are thier any aftermarket systems that i can put in the place of the factory one?

u could make a dipstick that goes down the filler neck

so u have replaced everything have u? what does it do?
im dont know the tanks in them but do they have transfer tubes from one side of the tank to the other, have seen them come off or block up causing problems like this.

when i start the engine the gauge goes up to full for about a second then drops to empty and stays there.
