combo switches are a known part to fail. basically the indicator stalk that the light switch is on, theres a wire in it thats to short and it snaps. do they come on when you indicate or anything?

yeh it's most likely to be the combo swith as bf xr said. its a very common fault at work with the ba's and bf's

i paid $50 to replace mine, and keep in mind that eventually you WILL loose your lights to, it's progressive in my experience. $50 was second hand though and this means that theres no garantee that it won't happen again real soon.
