Hey guys my manual T5 is jumping out of 5th so what are my options?
Rebuild gear box and over drive 5th? How much and how long/ hard of a job is it? Get a new T5? Or can a B series 6 speed be fitted or are the bellhousings all wrong- need different input shaft, clutch, flywheel etc Or a Mal woods T56 or 6 speed? What are the costs and big of a job each are? Any help or suggestions would be great |

Is your T5 noisy?
They jump out of gear because of wear in the selector, you'd have to pull it apart to know what bits are worn. Do they make a T56 bellhousing for the V8? you would also need a tailshaft made to suit the 31 spline output shaft on the gearbox.
