Just thought i'd post that i finally got around to pestering ford about the EB Xr8's i have. They are factory V8's, factory 5spd, factory LSD, and checked a couple of other options, such as the Xr8 boot lip spoiler, xr8 trim code & so on. They both have the correct alloy tailshafts as well. All those are A-ok. Paint colors match as well. The car's are currently as ford's tag's identify them, except for the LPG, extractors & after market exhausts, they are original.

I also checked the diff ratios, i was wrong about the 3.45 , it's 3.27 on both of them.

But the guy said he wasn't sure if they were futura or S pack's according to the vin. Futura didn't start until the ED iirc it replaced the S pack?

Anyway, that doesn't really matter, as they ticked all the right boxes, so they must be genuine Xr8's.

Another grave dig, after emailing fords customer service with VIN details, i have a report back from them, both EB Xr8's i have are genuine examples, not mock up's.
