Ok. There is a sucking, sqeaking noise from the front right side of my engine. Around the inlet manifold.
It sounds like a vac leak but I can't find any split hoses.
When I turn off the engine the noise keeps going for a few seconds but quients down. Sounds like something loosing pressure.
And when I wiggle the pink wire ontop the inlet manifold it seems to change pitch.(might be imagining)
This wire runs to a plugg below the thermostat.
Any ideas?

Get some carby cleaner and with the engine running, give the gasket area of the manifold a good spray, you will be able to pick it pretty quick where the leak is if you do in fact have one. Not a belt is it? or the air con compressor? does it make any difference if the air con is on or off?

Both ac bearing and its pully are buggered so there's no belt on there.
I don't think its a belt. Really seems to be from the inlet manifold area.

Have a good look at the plastic tree around half way along manifold. The plastic vacuum fitting pushes onto a metal stub on the manifold. This perishes and splits causing a vacuum leak. It should have two hoses going onto it.

Thanks for the tips.
Found the problem today.
Turns out ever since I first changed my isc the first time around a year ago I didn't put it back on propperly. Causing high idle. I've been through 3 isc and everyone hasn't fixed it.(because I replaced them wrong)

Anyway, at the mechanic today we put the smoke machine in the intake and smoke starts poring out around the ics.
Id been tightening it up with a bracket that holds wires running to a sensor between the manifold and the ics instead of ontop. Around a 1mm gap half way around.

I was so embarrased when I saw what I had been doing.
Started her up and bam 650rpm. First time since I've owned it.

Cheers to Ross Burn coastal exhaust in coffs for fixing that up for me. For free..
