My ABS light keeps comming on and a bit scared of taking it to a brake shop cos $ are limited.
So could i disable the abs ? |

yes
if you remove the black abs relay under your radiator header tank, this will disable the abs and the brakes will function as per a non abs car... you might still get the abs warning light but the globe can be removed... but before you do this, if you can.. check that the abs sensors on the hubs are not dirty, as this is a simple fix.. |

no need to disable it. When the light comes on, it reverts back to normal braking.

unless your road worthy requirements are different from victoria's (which they may be), then abs does not have to be working to pass.
