Hey,
I own a 04 BA mont ghia. The reverse beepers on it have stopped working after i towed a trailer. The rear speakers still cut out just no beep. I know they stop while towing, but now they still don't work after the trailer has been disconnected. This is the 2nd time it has happen, last time i towed a trailer when i disconnected it the beepers didn't beep anymore. But they started to work again after a couple days. It has now been a week and this time still no beep. Is there a way to reset them. The trailer was connected/disconnected with the car on if this makes any difference. |

The territory has a different trailer loom for with or without reversing sensors u may have shorted out the sensors some how . first disconnect the trailer loom from the rear loom chase the power back to the sensors. if there is no power check fuses from service book there is a diagram . Or send power back to one of the sensors and place your hand over it and see if it beeps. gassa

check your trailer plug. The plug itself has a magnet in the cover. if its not sitting properly/full of dust/magnet has fallen out it wont work.
