Looking at getting a new zorst for an AU station wagan, and I was wondering what would sound the best, keeping in mind of the $400 limit.

I have a 2.5' lukey super sports system and I love it, I was thinking about going down this path again.

Why are you replacing the exhaust if you already have the Lukey ones that you love so much?

Not to offend this is a stupid question, everyones opinion is different. Such as me, I started my car up last night with only the extractors and cat converter there, and guess what, I'd love to have alll my mufflers removed, it sounded awsome!

But some people like an exhaust that is silent except for when they plant there foot!

Some say for a station wagon you need a rear resinator - I don't have one and mine sounds great!

But personally I'm a Lukey fan when it comes to mufflers, but not there headers/extractors. But Redback and many other companys are equally as good in there mufflers.

$400 is a lot of money on an exhaust though, I mean you can get a cheap mandrell bent one for as low as $150! $300 should get you all new rubbers and gaskets, tip and a good system!

Understand what you are saying. I didnt explain myself, I have an EB with the zorst without resonators and end muffler, and I am thinking about doing the same thing again because I love the sound, but I was just checking if other zorsts are worth having a go on the wagan. i.e Redback. I am thinking Mandrel bends because it seems to be the Buzz word at the moment.

$400 is a lot on a cat back system, mine was $300 installed.

I was wondering if anybody had any other dealings with anything else.

You can't really go wrong with either. Although I'm told the Lukey sounds "chunkier." One straight through, mandrel bent 2.5" :)

For $400 maybe you should consider spending a little bit more and getting stainless?

Would be worth it in the long run.
