they are basicly the same cept for a light green wire in the H/U loom which is needed to hooked up to the hand brake and then maybe a switch to earth so its on when u drive and a diode to stop the hand brake light coming on the dash when u drive.

Yeh, linking a DVD unit to the handbrake or auto selector switch (park) should be done. It is good in theory but i have seen too many people wathcing the DVD or TV at the lights !
BMW drivers are the worst as when the car is stationary at lights, the screen comes on but when the car moves, the screen goes off. Many need to be prompted to move using the horn

Sorry for going off topic but can you DVD head unit play DVD's containing lots of MP3's rather than video ?

Cheers

on the pioneer it has a clamp to go on the handbrake cable and ity senses when there is voltage running thru it. Mine just so happened to get hooked on to the constant wire ;)

When I had the Xbox in the car even when I had it running I hardly ever glanced at the screen. Thats the beauty of the Simpsons, you dont need to watch it because you know whats going on anyway
