ok so update time.

i pulled the converter apart last night, renewed seals, cleaned all the internals, which actually were quite clean to begin with, i found the in line filter that you were talking about WildEb, and it also was really clean.
literaly the only thing that i found that looked the slightest bit wrong.
on the back side of the converter, the large diafram thingo, the diafram its self was intact, not torn or anything, but it had 2 thin layers of metal in the middle, one of them was bent slightly out of shape, buggerd if i know how that happened! i tryed to bend it all back straight, and then re assembled the converter and re isntalled.
the ed started up like normal, but, now my power surgeing at high throttle is gone
but at exactly 1400rpm cruizeing at 60 or what ever speed it surges! lol f**k!
so im going to asume the diafram im talking about is the cause of the problem.
and will try and source one of them.

am i heading down the right direction here?

and can anyone sugest where i can find the right part? its an OMVL converter
