The old girls EB hasn't been driven for some time now, I took it this evening, and when I put the indicators on (either left or right), both sides would flash just like hazard lights. Any ideas what would cause this?

Could be the combination switch.
Or the flasher relay is buggered. A wrong earth somewhere? Edit: btw the EB Series I combination switch is identical to the EA combination switch, the EB Series II and ED combination switch doesn't have the same connectors however the indicator stalk and windscreen wiper stalk are interchangeable between all E series combination switches. |

Sounds a lot like the hazard switch is broken...

Someone on FF mentioned checking the trailer plug, I reckon they're right, as many months ago I put a flat plug on, and didn't have time to mount it (it just dangles), probably shorted.

Any ideas what would cause this? Did you sort out your issue mate? My indicators are doing something similar to this. When I push the Hazard light on the indicators work fine - when I push the hazard switch off, the indicators both flash like the hazards are turned on! I am assuming the combination switch is probably just stuffed. My car is an XH UTE, anyone know if it uses the same indicator Combination Switch as the EF/EL? |
