Standard without the resonator (the hollow muffler looking thing in the tailpipe) sounds s**t. If you are wanting to remove something better off one of the mufflers.

if you want a new note one the cheap just do a cat back, mufflers cut out just dont sound right.

if you have a bit more money replace everything from the head to the bumper. it is a massive improvement then just cutting out a muffler.

I have a feeling anyone wanting to remove mufflers wants to do it on the $20 cheap for straight pipe rather than buy a new catback.

But yes, your stock exhaust won't sound or perform better than a catback.

I would just try every exhaust place within your vicinity and look for the cheapest place. I haven't had good experiences with exhaust places in brisbane, so maybe try an online store if you want to fit yourself.
