Hi, all...
Thinking about doing something different with my EA Fairmont Ghia...and would like other's opinions on a suitable V6 engine to do the job...Mitsubishi, Toyota, etc (not Holden obviously...not willing to be quite that "sacrilegious"...lol!!!) I am aware of the Ford Explorer 4.0L V6 engine, however, they are still a little pricey at the moment...
I am seriously considering twin-turbo-ing my V6 of choice...so any recommendations as to what is a good, solid, reliable V6 engine from other's knowlege/experience...would be greatly appreciated...
Cheers!

Why not twin turbo the I6? It will make a s**t load more torque as well

They don't call them Ford Exploder for no reason. Enough said.

Yeah...that had been my original plan...but then with space being at a premium when trying to cram 2 reasonable-sized snails on that side....I figure why not one either side...hence...V6....

I still think you will get more power from the I6, Snort do a twin turbo kit 1000hp+

If i was gonna do any other engine other than the Falcon engine, id go twin turbo RB26 or 2JZ. But I dont know if it would like the Falcons weight.

To be quite honest, I'd go Holden V6 (if somebody put a gun to my head and said I HAD to do a V6 in the first place) Why?
1) They might be thrashy and that, but they make reasonable power.
2) Common and cheap
3)blown version already available
4) OK, sacreligious, but so will be a Toyota or anything else..if you want to do this, you're going to need thick skin or enjoy p!ssing people off no matter what you put in if its not Ford, somebody will want to chew your ear off...Given that that's the case, may as well really piss em off!!
