Hey guys

I found the other day that my car was leaking alot of oil. most of it was going on the exhaust so was smoke coming out the bonnet and all.

I found that most of it was coming out of the bottom of the torque converter housing so i did the fun job the last night and changed the rear main seal.

i drained the toque converter and did a full service on the tranny while it was out.

i also changed the rocker gasket because i found a few little leaks in that aswell.

now the car is back and running nice but there is still a small leak.

the oil that is on the ground is engine oil but it is dropping around the rear of the tranny.

the only thing i can thing of is the head gasket.

iv changed the rear main and the rocker gasket so i dont think there is much left.

I really really really do not want to change the head gasket is there any way of geting round changing it if it is the head.

Thanks

Do a good check around the rear of the rocker cover - you can have a leak around the half moon area.
