Hi All,
When I go to fill up my LPG tank, after holding down the trigger for any amount of time with any amount of LPG in the tank and letting go of the trigger, it results in a large release of LPG from the safety overflow holes on the pump handle. The strange thing is, my tank actually receives the majority of the LPG, but I get this dangerous continuous 3-4 second gas cloud coming out of the overflow valves. (Yes, I have been filling up LPG cars for several years and it is NOT the standard LPG excess gas release sound which happens briefly every time you let go of the gas trigger) I have not noticed the LPG leaking from the tank over any period of time where the car is idle etc... The car is a 2007 BF Falcon XT (07). Any help would be great as I am hoping to sell the car soon and I want to try and get this issue sorted. |

3 or 4 seconds of LPG release - sounds like the spring in the filler neck is too soft, not sealing correctly anymore. Need to have it looked at an maybe replaced by a LPG fitter.
Cheers ToranaGuy
