ok i have a 1995 ef fairmont ghia v8 5.0l with no spark.
ive replaced coil(tested as well) dizzy, crank angle sensor in dizzy,ignition module, spark leads, ive put a noid light on the coil wires nd ive got spark nd pulse goin to the coil, ive tested the coil nd coil works but its not sparkin from coil to dizzy, ive also tried hittin the trim between steerin wheel nd radio whilst crakin the motor. now after all this all its doin is: when i crank the motor it has no spark untill after i stop crakin the motor nd turn the key off it'll give a spark(between coil nd dizzy) its gettin pretty annoying so any help will be greatly appreciated thanks guy chris. |

maybe hav a look for a electrical short.
somthins up. maybe hav a look under the steering wheel wher the barrel is or look around the coil. another clue might be if thers any fuses blown.

Smartlock? I think it cuts spark from the coil as one of it's features. I'd be grabbing a spare BEM and possibly ECU, plugging them in and seeing how it goes. Big grey connector to the dizzy TFI module clean and securely plugged in? Main fuses and relays under bonnet OK?
