just want to know if there is an easy way to clean inside and around my xr6 and tickford badges. wot do I use and will anything get the build up off the paint around the inside of the lettering?

isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol $6.50 at jaycar 200mls) as above or u might be able to use some toothpaste and a soft toothbrush

Not if it is used softly to agitate the polish/wax out of the crevices.

so do we think tooth paste or rubbing alcohol is the go?

Rubbing Alcohol, toothpaste will marr the paint, and leave behind more residue.

toothpast is abrasive, thats a silly idea!
just use the soapy water when you wash your car next, if you need something stronger to get rid of excess polish and other buildups, etc, then move onto the alcohol/metho

I use a soft wet toothbrush to clean around badges and get polish out of crevises on my cars. Works great and dosent scratch.
