you could mount them upside down under your boot lid. Even cover them with a nice snug shelf or something to protect em from getting hit.
Under seats maybe, secured and covered against feet.

under the seats is a no go, ones is too long n they will get all knocked by peoples feet anyway; never liked the under seat option myself - my parcel shelft is full too, dvd stacker and avm for screen..

I just finished mounting an amp for my sub. Seeing that I wanted the sub in the rear pacel shelf I mounted the amp to the back of the rear seat, so when it folds down I can adjust the controls....
It was easy to do and plenty of earths around. The seat is a metal frame so is secure.

I have mine on the "hump" in the boot just behind the seats, I just folded the rear seats down, removed the plugs holding the carpet to the seats, slide a block of 16mm mdf under the carpet, aligned it with the amp and screwed the sucker down.
Second car I've doen this is, its never moved once. |

Second car I've doen this is, its never moved once. I just velcroed it into place so its easily removable. Doesn't move ever if you do it properly. Also because there is no metal to metal connections (also achieved by using the MDF) there's no interference. My amps too big so I couldn't find another easily removable place for it.

do not mount it upside down on the boot or parcel shelf!! the heat then has nowhere to go - not good.... it can reduce power output and damage amp
u need to mount it either vertically or horrizontilly with heatsinks facing up. back of the seat would prob be the way to go. also run power wire and rca lead far away from each other - one down each side of the car. |

i found the best place was behind the rear folding down seats in my EF sedan. easy to access from within the cabin if need be and out of sight from would be thiefs. ALso easy to fee wires to rear speakers and from head unit into amp
