hey guys, just wondering if any1 was tryed having a 2.5'' catback with just a hotdog in it, no mufflers just a hotdog in the rear? ive seen a couple of people post that they have straight pipes on there cars and i had that not that long ago but had to change to get off defect,
if any1 has run just a hotdog wat did it sound like? or wat do u guys recon it will sound like because i wanna go back to having a real loud car again.. cheers.. btw cars a ef n/a 6 |

doesnt the drone annoy you?
if you got a defect maybe its telling you something, buy a proper exhaust.

man its your car
 do what ever you want to it. if you like it loud keep it loud. my mate has a ba n/a 6, its got a good not to it. its loud at idol and progressively gets louder til about 3000rpm then you hear more engine. that system he has is a 2.5 with a rear dog. i dont think he has any mufflers, possibly one centre one. |

ok well i think that will a straight exhaust would be way to loud and no back pressure.
i just have a stock system atm but am thinking of removing the rear muffler, not sure how it will sound or preform but meh gives me somthing to do. have a look at pic to see what im on about

much better off buying an aftermarket cat back, this question gets asked a lot.
