hey
ok im trying the resistor trick in on the ecu in my car because the car run the auto with the tcm...ive done the 1.2k resister in pin 42 to fix make the thermos work but the other resistor to setting the idle properly (which is pretty bad) has a wire from the nutral drive switch i in its position,,which is pin 30 so should the idle be fine with this wire there there is wat i'd like to kno?

also need to get around smartlock, either j3 chip or a bypass module

already got all that stuff...the car runs and drives works perfect except the idle creeps up as the car gets warmer to bout 1000 rpm..and ive got a restrictor on the ics because it revs up to like 1100 and wnt go down any further

Dude, Just wire your auto to the EL ecu. I did a doco search my old username ebfairmont3.9 much better then tricking the ECU.
