I'm currently looking around for some heads for my EF XR8 and I have had read several different things about what heads the Pacemaker PH4000's I have will bolt up to. Some have said that they only fit E7's, some reckon GT40's will fit too and some say that they managed to bolt them up to GT40P's using 90 degree plug boots. Pacemaker themselves claim they will not fit GT40 heads from AUII onwards due to clearance of plugs, I assume they mean GT40P? Can anyone clear it up for me, what heads can I use with my extractors? Does anyone have the GT40/GT40P's with these extractors? If they don't fit I'll look at getting a set of ported E7's. I just want to know whats what before I shell out any cash.
Cheers

I have personally used PH4000 headers on my original E7's and on my GT40P's. The PH4000's are designed for the E-series engine bay and will not fit AU engine bay due to their steering arm clearance.

The hurricane extractors are a better design and will have better performance all round, but i have heard the quality has dropped of abit so double check before purchase if u choose to go that way.
