Just took off pretty hard in my manual AU XR8 tonight from the lights and instead of breaking traction, it felt like i was driving with a real hi-stall converter auto. :?

It just sort of reved under a load and slowly the speed caught up to the revs.

Is my clutch fu{*ed or could it be an adjustment issue?

This would be losing me power and fuel economy everytime I drive couldnt it?

What kind of prices am I looking at for a new clutch installed?

Are the XR8s a T5 gearbox still?

If so, I'd recommend an RPM series clutch. I went for Option 1 which is the most drivable out of all the performance clutch. Retail price is around $450.

If its not a T5 gearbox, I wouldn't have a clue.

Just spoke to Ford, they've finally decided to replace the clutch and diff this time under warranty. Woohoo!
