just a quick random question...
im wiring up my innovate SSI4 data logger tomorrow, im planning to log RPM, TPS, MAP and Speed. for my data logger i need to reference the sensor ground point, im hoping this is done through the ECU, looking at the ECU pinout (http://fordmods.com/documents.php?d=41) would i be right in assuming that signal ground (pin 46) is what im after? if not, is there another pin i can/should use? and if not to that, where would i get the ground point for the sensors? :confused: according to the ECU pinout, the falcon speed sensor can send a 10v signal? my data logger will only accept upto a 5v input... have i missed something, or will this just not work with my data logger?

Did you end up getting your logger working? Am interested to know if you're logging speed as well. I'm using LC-1 with a DL-32 and was going to try and hook up speed at the start, but figured there's no real need for it in a tuning sense, as RPM is what most of the tuning is based on. ECT would be a better option for that channel.

If you had more channels you could do speed, but having 5 is tight.. I would probably do TPS, A/F, MAF, RPM and maybe duty cycle? Intake charge temp would be nice somehow. What are you thinking Scaffy?

On mine, I'm running A/F, RPM, MAF, TPS, ACT & ECT. I've found these to be sufficient to tune with. Although, datalogging straight from the EEC would be better!
I suppose it depends on what misk_one is planning to use the datalogger for. If for tuning, then I'd go with what you've listed, except swap duty cycle for ECT, as a lot of tables use ECT on the Y axis. If he's got an innovate wbO2, then that would free up a channel and allow him to log ACT, or whatever else, really.
