Sorry if it's not much help but there's a place over here in Victoria called Statewide Bearings that usually source stuff like that. Perhaps they can give you specifics.

The underdrive kit should've come with a larger water pump pulley, that means there's no need to change belt length, and no risk of overheating the engine, as the water pump still runs at normal speed.

yea it did but i thought if i used the original water pump pully being smaller it would spin faster makeing for better cooling performance.. I think.. im not the greatest wealth of knowledge. Lol.

Also wonderin would low oil make these newer cars hold themselves back? like some sort of torque limiting by the computer coz there isnt enough oil?

That's not how it works, bigger pulleys spin faster. Put the big one on.

There's only an oil pressure switch which'll light a warning on the dash as sound an alarm, the ECU doesn't know the oil level.

However, low oil will cause damage, get it sorted ASAP.

yea i hav the bigger one on.
Hm maybe my car just got a bit hot an botherd the other day coz it felt like it was holdin iself back a bit like there was no water pressure or just pullin the timing back.. i dunno only noticed it once or twice. only time its happend.
Ill put it down to gettin warmer than normal and keep an eye on it.

mine used to do the same i think as you would expect when the tempratures are up it has to nock back the timing because it will start to ping earlier usualy one that is tuned with a slightly richer mixture wont have the problem as early the nock sesor tells the ecu when it starts to knock (ping)
