no it's not that,it hasn"t been washed for about 3 months. I was told it could have something to do with the fuel maybe :?: :)

does your oil light slowly beam on and off? mine did this after a washing and yeh it stuttered too, a good run got it all hot and it stopped. But you aint washed it

ignition leads all in securely? Wires to the fuel pump all in tact and not being sliced by bodywork? any fuses blown? all the wires to the transmission intact? (havent got it snagged on a 'missile stick')

Is there anything else acting up?

Check that battery connectons are good..Including neg battery to engine or body to engine...
Leads, plugs and cap...
Suspect fuel relay ???
TFI = thick film ignition its that electronic part where the dissy plug is on dissy....
Check coil connections...
Check that there is no fault in imobiliser? Or inside fuse....
Clean and check idle speed control... IAC
Disconnect it ...Adjust idle... then re- fit connectiopn...
Or just turn idle up alittle..
The fuel pump can be got at through boot but you need to undo long hose clamp that goes around the thread....
