mig would be best but i have welded up exhausts with a 30 year old arc welder no probs, just take you time, minimal heat and as small as electrode as possable, i used a 2.6 and if your using stick get electrodes with EXX11 there a nice flowing type called celulose so should be able to do it.
doesnt matter what numbers the XX is but the higher the number the higher the tensile strengh but like i said mig would be best.

yah i got the intercooler in, atm im taking things slow. my car runs outta rego in 2 months so when its got a years rego ill on the turbo itll save engineering and all that s**t
