I am hoping somebody can help out with these

It is the mechanism that holds the door open and stops it from folding back onto the guard it also holds the door open and doesn't close and crush your shins The later being my problem.

I can't buy them new (ONR).

All the ones I have found at wreckers are crap.

If anybody has got a fix or a way of repairing these or another model that will fit could you please let me know.
