f@rt cannons sound wanky at the best of times. There's an AU XLS ute that used to drive around Bonnyrigg a few years ago with a f@rt cannon and it sounded exactly like a 4cyl. Total puss for what he was trying to achieve.
If you don't believe me then by all means go ahead with it. But don't expect sympathy from me when you post up saying someone put a brick through your window and jumped on your cannon in an attempt to dislodge it.

guy up the street from me has a reasonable looking 74 Cortina, f@rt cannon muffler but no other mufflers, and it sounds so bad that I'm not even sure whether its a 6 or a Pinto type 4, but it runs really bad when cold, and over about 2 grand it is SO loud that your teeth vibrate when it goes past...I can hear him after he's left our street rowing thru the gears for probably another 10 minutes - its quiet until the revs build then this godawful faaaaaart noise. If the owner is reading this, your car sucks donkey's testicles and everybody in the street wants to throw bricks at it (and you) Its a pity cos other than this it is a nice straight looking car...
