Basically as the title says -
I want to buy a Pioneer media headunit, however it doesn't have a CD drive so I would like to keep the factory 6 stacker funtional. I assumed I'd be able to splice directly into the speaker wires, but when I searched and read on that, the obvious problem of backfeeding into the ICC came up. All I'm really asking is my options in keeping the factory 6 stacker, while also having the new headunit connected as well (wouldn't use them at the same time of course). Cheers,

You can't really do it aye, i tried in my fairmont. The signal from the decks interfere with each other, when you turn up the music you just hear crackling.
You might be able to use switches to stop the signal but its not worth it, your better off buying a single din flip screen style or something that has a drive already in it. Most decks can be connecting to the steering wheel controls.
