Okay. hey all.. i have an 89 EA S pack stationwagon with a 5 speed.

i want to put the T5 in a EB II Fairmont...

the shafts in the wagons are different to the sedans.

but would i be able to reuse the Fairmont shaft or would i have to get another one/hack into the wagon shaft?

Cheers.

You can use the auto shaft from the EB2 no problems.

Worst case, go source a shaft from the wreckers. EB2 onwards have a different diff end flange than EA/EB1.
