I just did my front shocks and came to the conclusion its one of those jobs I'd be happy to pay someone else to do. How does the rear compare in terms of time and general pain the a*** factor?

Rears are easier than the fronts although, I had little trouble doing the fronts, easier when you remove the upper control arms |

Yeah they do make it awkward, getting the upper ball joint out was fun too..

Rears are a piece of piss mate, the spring is seated on the diff not the shock. Top bolt, bottom bolt, out they come.

yeh rears are no more than a hour job.. if you done the front, you will be able to hold a beer with one hand while you do the rear with the other..
oh btw im referring to the shocks not other stuff...

Yeah shocks is all. Good to hear as I had to put my beer down several times doing the fronts.
