hey all i have an EA SII Spak, just wondering what diff's are out there that would bolt straight in and about how much would i be looking at??? Thanx heaps guys...

i think XE and XF. and EA. thats it. after EA they changed the pinion. but if you have a 4 speed auto you can use the tail shaft too to be able to fit the diff but then EB2 onwards the lower trailing arms are different so you'll have to make spacers or mix and match bushes (EA front - EB2 onwards rear)

In the EB the uni where the tailshaft hooks up changed too. Best to get a diff from a EA or XF.

You might want to confirm how many splines your diff axles have as well before opening your wallet. The guy, putting the LSD in my EA Series 2, ordered a 25-spline diff and then found it was a 28-spline when he started dismantling. (I'm not sure how that came to be unless Ford started using the 28-spline diffs in 1991)

you could use a da2 diff which is a 3.23 lsd. i dunno if the ea is the same in the back as the da but if it is you could grind the spacers off where the arms go and use any e series diff
