hey guys and girls
i have recently ran in to a problem, my firewall has started to crack from the engine bay to the interior frm the result of clutch dumping i assume.. my mechanic has solved my problem for the moment by putting a metal plate inbetween the firewall and where the clutch cable runs to prevent putting more damage to the firewall, has anybody else run into this problem? if so could somebody plese assist with some advice please thankyou.

the cable is at the angle to line up with the pedal,
if the angle is wrong the inner cable will start to cut into the outer cable. |

No diy threads but its a fidely time consuming task, the whole issue is getting the lenses off the light without breaking the lens...
this can be done with a cutting disk on a dremel(small rotary tool) or heating a stanly knife with a gas torch and cut between the lense and tail light housing.. it took me about 3 hours on each light getting them apart. once appart the orange insert can be pryed out, then re fit the lense using sickaflex to seal and join it together... |
