now i've owned my EB for nearly 2.5 years now. it's dual fuel and ever since i've owned it the fuel pump has been that noisy it sounded like i had a holley blue in the tank but it still ran and performed fine on petrol.
But last weekend i had my gas mixer off so i ran it on petrol and it finally gave up the game and started missing and spluttering on petrol so i got a brand new Fuelmiser pump and fitted it 22/8 Sunday. did it at my brothers joint, worked all sweet and got me home (about 5kms). but an hour later when i when to restart it, it wouldn't start. the pump wasn't working. So on the Tuesday when i got a chance i checked for power at the pump, it was there. so i got a replacement pump under warranty but this time it was a Bosch pump. fitted it last night and worked all sweet. got from my joint to my brothers (5kms) and when i went to restart it an hour later whenever the fuel pump is running (all the time when the car is running) all my outside lights come on dull, parkers, indicators everything. all on dull. but as soon as i disconnect the pump it is okay. now wtf? how does changing the pump cause that? with the old clapped out pump it was fine! so currently the pump is disconnected and i'm running on gas sorry about the novel but i needed to explain it all

Cheers ToranaGuy i've seen it there before and thought "wtf is that" but i've always put it back on. i once didn't on purpose and started it and the tail lights started doin crazy things so i assumed it was for my trailer wiring which is all scotched locked into that side tail lights wiring
