Craig, you are full of top tips!! Tyre shine - who'd have thought of that?? Mine really really needs more paint on it 1st though - I've literally worn the paint away...as you'd know, you get a horrible oxidisation type thing happening with matt paint after a while, but a quick sand with 6-800 grit takes you back to a nice finish - I used to wash my car with wetrub 800 grit paper instead of a sponge...so yeah needs more paint, just waiting for this weather to pick up a bit. Another trick to get rid of that oxidised type deposit is to rub vigourously with an (old) rough towel - have a look here at the finish on mine, that was just after giving it a good towelling... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aOuIVGDkiQ

Reminds me of when I sold an LX Torry hatch - nice car, but very faded red paint - which as somebody else said looked great wet - so I kept going out and soaking it with the hose while I was waiting for the buyer to come have a look...he said `why's it wet?' Oh, just washed it for you!, says I. looks great, he says and buys it on the spot....
