Check wiring, but ECU is a posiblity too. The EFs are wired for Sequential injection (but work group) so there must be a driver for each Injector.
My first suspicion would be the join in the engine bay to the engine... Nigel |

back of the inlet manifold - im not sure what the connector looks like for your model. Im suggesting a single wire may have failed if your lucky.
That said, Ive blown the injector drivers on 3 seperate ECU's in a past life. Nigel |

check the connectors in the injector plug,
then check to see if there is 12v on the power line on that injector plug, if it has 12v with ignition on? check to see if the other wire is pulsing with a test light while the engine is running, if no pulse its either a break in the wire or an injector driver in the ecu has died... |

ok so are the ecu drivers repairable or what?
anyone got a spare ef ecu i can borrow to see it its the drivers on the injector plug which wire is the 12 volts and for the test light can i ground it anywhere?

ok i put a multi on the terminal and with the engine running i get 14v, i also tested the first cylinder which is working and also get 14v,
the injector is fine as i swapped the 1st and 2nd cylinder to test them and all is good, does anyone know what setting on the multimeter to use to check for pulsing of the other wire? is there any other connections i should check before i replace the ecu?

the pulse is an earth pulse, just run the positive of the multimeter to 12v and use the earth of the multimeter to test the other wire in the injector plug..
it should show some voltage when pulsing |

Have ECU out of a EF Futura here that you can borrow for a test.
