just put in a k&n panel filter, would the computer need a bit of time to learn something is different with the car and adjust accordingly or should i be noticing something different right away??? thanks

ecu will not need to learn anything. You will notice very little difference actually. The k&n has a very similar flow rate to the standard paper filters anyway. No real gains to be had. Apart from being able to wash and reoil it.

but for a family 6 cyl in stock condition, its really a servicability thing. you killed his buzz DC!

i put a cheap pod on my ef a while ago, all it did was suck 10 times more fuel and need more boot on the hills, then i put the stok gear bak on, then ripped the stok intake pipe off it and put a au intake pipe on it and it made a huge difference
