Just looking for some advice on subs for a BF falcon sedan.
I'm looking at installing a sub in my BF sedan which is just to compliment the main speakers rather than provide bone shaking bass. I don't want to lose any boot space as it's often full of bikes etc so a sub in the boot is not an option. I looked at an 8" in the parcel shelf but they are few and far between. It was suggested to me to look at mounting a 10" from underneath the rear parcel tray on an MDF mounting ring. One other option is to use a Focal BUS25 powered sub placed under the passenger seat. Any of these options will be run from the ICC head unit and via the appropriate amp. Any help will be appreciated. |

an 8" sub is around $150 for a decent one, and the 10" with an mdf space works well too, just make sure the mdf has a good seal or it will sound like s**t and give out very little bass. personally i would recommend a slim line sub in a slim line box right behind the rear seat(under the parcel shelf) it takes up very little space, and the space there isnt really usefull any way!
