What are the symptoms for stuffed track bar bushes? Ive been chasing a rumbly wheel bearing for ages now, its had 2 sets of new bearings (including shells) and has been apart and greased up about 6 million times. At about 55kph there is a harmonic vibration going through the car coming from the left front which accelerates in pitch with road speed. It goes away under brakes. Hence I thought it was a shagged bearing. Ive since noticed a rather substantial bit of bush hanging from the track bar at the Subframe end. If that is metal on metal and allowed a bit of movement through not having any rubber near it, will it resonate through the car, make the car pull to the left and go back to normal under brakes?

Ok, pulled the bars out of the EL donor. The bushes in it are new... anyways... the EB has some weird lookin sleeve type of bush, the EL has 2 rubbers instead. Are they interchangeable?....

So, they do swap over ok... I used the EL bar while I was at it though, will do the other side tomorrow night maybe. Is noticeably better as far as driving is concerned, but that godamned noise is still there...albeit much much quieter.
