With shift kits can you still drive your car when it is in Drive just like normally, does it just change it so when you run through the gears it doesn't lag when you change it? How expensive are they for a ef fairmont?

thanks in advance,

dyl

You can buy them with an on and off switch, which practicly disables it and makes the car drive like normal.

The only difference it makes is the actual shift is quicker/firmer. The box will still act EXACTLY as standard - same shift points, same delay when shifting the box 'manually', except the shifts will 'kick' you in the butt.

8-) The one one I got from Jamie also has a nob to adjust the firmness of the change as well as on off switch.
